The attorney for accused Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse says two of the six charges against his client should be dismissed because no reasonable person would conclude a crime was committed.
Attorney Mark Richards filed the motion in Kenosha County Circuit Court Wednesday.
It asks that the charges of possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18 and first-degree recklessly endangering safety with the use of a dangerous weapon be thrown out.
A pre-trial hearing for the Illinois teenager is scheduled for 10:30 a-m today (Thursday) in Kenosha.
Rittenhouse is accused of shooting two men to death and wounding a third during a night of protests in Kenosha last August.
