A simple traffic stop turned into a bad night for one Manitowoc man.
A Manitowoc Police Officer pulled over a vehicle in the parking lot of the A-Store, located at 731 North 11th Street at around 4:00 PM on Tuesday, when he noticed the brake lights were not functioning properly.
The officer noticed the passenger was not wearing his seatbelt and learned that he was wanted on several warrants.
A search of the 30-year-old male uncovered an unused syringe in his breast pocket, a concealed knife with a 4-inch blade in his jeans pocket, methamphetamine, marijuana, and other items of drug paraphernalia.
The man is now facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, a Schedule 2 Narcotic, THC, and Drug Paraphernalia, Carrying a Canceled Knife, four counts of Felony Bail Jumping, and had a Drug Repeater enhancer attached.
