A home on the east side of Appleton is no longer livable following a fire which originated in the kitchen.
The Appleton Fire Department was called to the home on Linden Lane at around 11:45 Tuesday morning, and found the fire in the kitchen, with black smoke billowing from the window.
All occupants were able to escape without any injuries, however, the home suffered severe fire, smoke, and water damage, estimated to be around $100,000 worth.
The cause was not specifically stated, but they did say it was related to cooking, and that smoke alarms were not functioning properly.
The Red Cross was called to aid those displaced by the blaze.
