A Dodge County judge has sentenced a man who set his home on fire to four years in prison.
42-year-old Benjamin Mueller set the fire in April 2017 after his marriage broke up.
When emergency responders arrived at the home in the township of Herman, they found Mueller in his pajama pants, with soot-covered hands and “smelling of intoxicants.”
He was blamed for starting two fires in the basement.
No one was injured, but others living in that home were displaced while repairs were completed.
Mueller will be on extended supervision for 15 years after he gets out.
