The City of Two Rivers has delayed the start of their winter parking ban.
In a news release, City Manager Greg Buckley cited the lack of snow accumulation and the fact that there is no snow in the immediate forecast for the delay.
Wisconsin is known for our quickly changing weather, so the delay could be lifted just as quickly. Buckley advised that residents keep an eye on the Two Rivers City Hall and Police Department Facebook pages, as well as the City website, Two-Rivers.org, for updates.
Once the parking ban is reinstated, vehicles will be prohibited from parking on City Streets between 1:00 and 6:00 AM, with fines starting at $15, and jumping to $45 for repeat offenders.
