A 29-year-old Appleton woman has died following an accident on I-41 in Brown County.
According to reports, the Lawrence Fire Department and Hobart Police were on the scene of a previous crash at around 10:30 PM Wednesday evening, when the SUV, driven by the unnamed woman, rear-ended the fire truck.
The woman died from her injuries, but no other injuries were reported.
It is not clear what caused the woman to drive into the unit, but the investigation is still ongoing.
The woman’s name has not yet been released.
