A pair of Green Bay Packers are on the shortlist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2021.
Charles Woodson and LeRoy Butler were among the semifinalists announced Tuesday.
Butler has been a semi-finalist four times while Woodson was eligible for the first time. He played for the Packers from 2006-to-2012. He also starred for the Oakland Raiders in an 18-year career.
Butler had 38 interceptions in a 12-year N-F-L career – all with the Packers.
The list of 25 semi-finalists will be cut to 15 in January.
Woodson and quarterback Peyton Manning are considered to be locks to make the Hall on their first ballot.
