A 48-year-old Green Bay woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries when she was struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening.
Reports indicate that the woman was crossing Mason Street from Wal-Mart at around 5:00 PM and was not using a crosswalk. At the same time, a 62-year-old man from Hobart was traveling west on Mason and struck the woman.
It was noted that the woman did not yield to traffic, and the man claimed he didn’t see the woman as she was crossing.
The man has not been charged with anything at this time, and it is not clear if he will be.
Alcohol was not involved in the incident, and the roadway was blocked off as the investigation was conducted.
