As the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, the need for addiction services is increasing across the U.S. and right here in Northeast Wisconsin. Dealing with addiction is always challenging, but even more so while dealing with the impact of the pandemic.
In response to that fact, the Jackie Nitschke Center Board of Directors has announced that they are providing $5,000 in matching grant monies for #GivingTuesday, which takes place on December 1st.
Michelle Pierquet-Hohner, JNC’s Director of Community & Donor Engagement said in a news release that “Donations on #GivingTuesday will help us to safely maintain in-person services and expand our virtual service options during the pandemic and beyond.”
The Jackie Nitschke Center out of Green Bay has been saving lives and restoring families from substance use addiction for nearly 50 years.
