The High School Girls Basketball season begins tonight for a number of lakeshore area teams.
In non-conference matchups involving E-W-C clubs, Roncalli is on the road to face St Mary’s Springs in Fond du lac, Valders is home to meet Plymouth, Kiel travels to Winnebago Lutheran Academy and, Brillion is host to Amherst.
Opening night action featuring Two Rivers & New Holstein non-league opponents has been canceled.
Broadcast coverage for the Plymouth/Valders game will be on 107.9 FM WOMT and at WOMTRadio.com, with tipoff scheduled at 7:15 PM.
There is also a full slate of activity in the Big East Conference, as Manitowoc Lutheran goes to Kohler, Mishicot visits Ozaukee, Reedsville is at Random Lake, Howards Grove travels to Sheboygan Christian, St. Mary Catholic visits Oostburg, Hilbert is at Sheboygan Lutheran, and Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah goes to Cedar Grove-Belgium.
In the North-Eastern Conference, Denmark invades Freedom and Luxemburg-Casco goes to Wrightstown.
