A total of 12 fire departments responded late last night to a large garage fire in the Sheboygan County Town of Rhine.
Lieutenant Larry Perronne said the call came in just after 10:00 PM from the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center to respond to N-9642 Little Elkhart Lake Road.
The garage contained the owner’s personal items and reports indicated the structure and its’ contents were a total loss.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no injuries reported.
Elkhart Lake firefighters were joined at the scene by personnel from Howards Grove, Kiel, New Holstein, St. Anna, Waldo, Haven, Johnsonville, Ada, Greenbush, Glenbeulah, and Plymouth as well as the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office and County Highway Department.
