A Manitowoc man who crashed into a utility pole was arrested over the weekend for his 6th OWI charge.
Officials were called to the crash site in the area of Clipper Drive and South 41st Street at around 6:15 PM on Sunday and found that the vehicle responsible and the driver were not there.
The man who witnessed the crash and called it in told officers that the driver told him that he would report it when he got home. The witness was able to obtain the license plate number, and officers contacted the owner of the vehicle.
The man was visibly intoxicated, so officers brought him to Holy Family Memorial Hospital for a blood draw.
He is now facing his 6th OWI charge and one count of Felony Bail Jumping.
