A home in Green Bay caught fire over the weekend, leaving one person without a place to live.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department was called to the home in the 700 block of Winford Avenue just after noon on Sunday, and upon arrival found smoke and flames billowing from the kitchen window.
The fire was brought under control within 10 minutes of their arrival, but not before it caused an estimated $50,000 in damage.
No injuries were reported, but the lone occupant of the home was displaced.
No word on the cause of the fire at this time.
