The Milwaukee Bucks have upgraded their bench with a pair of signings.
E-S-P-N is reporting Milwaukee has agreed to the terms of a two-year contract with free-agent guard Bryn Forbes, who played for the San Antonio Spurs last year. He started 62 games and averaged a little over 11 points-a-game.
The team also signed free-agent forward Torrey Craig. He started 27 regular-season games for the Denver Nuggets, averaging 5.4 points and 3.3 rebounds-a-game. Craig was used as a versatile defensive specialist by the Nuggets.
The Bucks had previously signed guard D-J Augustin and forward Bobby Portis.
Meanwhile, veteran N-B-A guard Wes Matthews is taking his game to the West Coast.
Matthews has signed a $3.6 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
His departure is another painful loss for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Matthews was a high school standout for Madison Memorial and played his college ball at Marquette.
The 34-year-old started 67 games for the Bucks last season, scoring 7.4 points-a-game and providing solid perimeter defense.
Los Angeles will be the eighth N-B-A team he has played for.
