The Eastern Wisconsin Conference has announced its Winter Sports Protocols.
The biggest change to events this year is the effect it’ll have on spectators. EWC athletic directors and superintendents said in a news release that the idea is to provide the best possible situation for their student-athletes and families, so there’s going to be an attendance limit at winter athletic events.
For instance, there will be a 2-ticket limit for each participant in Boys and Girls Basketball & 2-tickets for Dance/Cheer teams per participant for home events, only.
Due to a statewide face-covering mandate, face-coverings are required and Social Distancing is to be maintained as well. There will be no general admission tickets sold or available. Schools affected by the EWC sports protocols include: Roncalli, Two Rivers, Valders, Kiel, Brillion, Chilton, New Holstein and Sheboygan Falls.
