While the Friends of the Manitowoc Public Library were forced to cancel their biannual Used Book Sale fundraiser, they have come up with a new way to raise funds for the Library’s Summer Reading Program.
On Tuesday, December 1st, the group will be participating in Giving Tuesday to raise funds for the program. On the library’s website, they say “The benefits of the Summer Reading Program impact so many in our community —from the youngest picture book enthusiast to the most seasoned reader. It combines a love of reading with informative, fun programming with spectacular results.”
To donate, go to ManitowocLibrary.org/GivingTuesday, and click the donate button at the bottom of the screen, or mail a check to the Friends of Manitowoc Public Library at 707 Quay Street, Manitowoc, WI 54220. Be sure to earmark your donation for “Giving Tuesday.”
