Ashwaubenon police say a man accused of killing his companion in a hotel last August gave them several different explanations for her injuries.
Dennis Sutrick entered a plea of not guilty during a Monday appearance in Brown County Circuit Court. He’s charged with first-degree intentional homicide and a conviction could mean a life sentence.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released, but investigators say her face was bruised and they found blood and chunks of her hair in the room.
Sutrick initially told officers she may have been hurt while they had sex. He also said she had problems with the medication she was on.
Sutrick is scheduled to return to court in January.
