A Waukesha man, who told police he stabbed four family members to save them from coronavirus, now faces sentencing next month.
36-year-old Adam Roth was found guilty of two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of attempted homicide, and other charges.
He had pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect during a hearing last week in Waukesha County Circuit Court.
The court agreed with the plea, and Roth was hospitalized for mental health treatment for three-and-a-half weeks last spring.
He killed 34-year-old Dominique Roth and 26-year-old Deidre Popanda in the March attack.
