A 46-year-old Manitowoc man was arrested over the weekend after repeatedly calling a woman who had a Domestic Violence Injunction out on him and peeking into her window.
The investigation into the suspect began on Friday when the victim called the police to report the illegal activity. She informed officers that her ex-boyfriend, who was court-ordered to not have contact with her, had called her phone roughly 100 times in an hour and a half long time span. The man sent her four expletive-filled text messages as well.
While speaking with officers, the victim received a call from the man. The police took over the phone call, and the man said that the woman owed him money. He refused to meet with officers, and they were unable to find him because he did not have a current address on file.
Then just before 11:00 Saturday evening, police received a report of the man peeking into the victim’s home through a window. The man resisted being put into handcuffs and was reportedly uncooperative with staff at the Manitowoc County Jail.
He is facing charges of Resisting an Officer, and two counts of Violation of a Domestic Abuse Injunction
