The Interfaith Justice group in Manitowoc County, RUTH (Responding with Understanding Truth and Hope), is preparing to host a thanksgiving themed event on Monday, November 16.
“Car Caravan of Thanksgiving” will begin at 9:45 AM in front of Aurora Medical Center on Memorial Drive. The event will begin with a prayer of Thanksgiving led by RUTH member Pastor Carly Kuntz for all the dedicated health care workers and everyone who is keeping the community as safe and healthy as possible in this time of COVID.
The caravan will then leave at 10:00 AM and will travel to a variety of hospitals, medical and mental health clinics, nursing groups, and nursing homes in Two Rivers and Manitowoc, honking at them in a show of support. The parade will end at the corner of 9th Street and Marshall Street in Manitowoc, where the Manitowoc County Health Department is located.
