The Wisconsin men’s hockey team gets its season underway at Notre Dame tonight (Friday).
The two teams split four games last season.
The Badgers have 10 N-H-L draft picks on their roster and return the Big Ten Conference goals leader in Cole Caufield. He had a hat trick in one of the games of the last series between the two teams last January.
The Badgers will be trying to emerge from three straight seasons of sub-.500 records – including last year’s mark of 14-20-2.
Notre Dame is ranked number-20 in the preseason poll.
The puck drops at 6:00 p-m on the Fighting Irish home ice.
