When one of the two men fighting in Madison Wednesday afternoon grabbed an ax from his truck, the fight really got serious.
Madison police arrested the two.
Witnesses say 49-year-old Fabian Zepeda and 26-year-old Samuel Scott were fighting right in the middle of the road. When Zepeda grabbed an ax from the bed of his pickup, witnesses say Scott jumped in his vehicle and hit the older man.
That’s when Zepeda used the ax to knock a hole in Scott’s windshield.
A 22-year-old woman in Scott’s car tried to jump out and fell and he drove over her legs as he left the scene. The woman escaped serious injuries.
Both men are charged with recklessly endangering safety.
