The Salvation Army in Manitowoc County needs your help to #RescueChristmas.
Lt. Jenny Moffitt states they have had record numbers of new families reaching out for assistance for Christmas this year.
“I feel that as we continue to see COVID-19 impacting our world that requests for additional helps in many other areas will increase,” the leader of the Manitowoc County branch of the Salvation Army stated.
This year there are some new ways to give which include a text to give options. Simply text “Manitowoc” to 24365. In addition, you can visit SAManitowoc.org to give online at the Virtual Red Kettle or use your smartphone at the kettle.
Moffit also called for volunteers to ring bells at the iconic Red Kettles. To volunteer, you can call the office at 920-684-7117 or go to RegisterToRing.com.
