A Sturgeon Bay woman was court ordered to stand trial for the alleged murder of her ex-girlfriend.
Police reports indicate that Susan Soukup and Kate McConkey had an on again off again relationship and were living with each other at the time of McConkey’s death.
The pair had reportedly gotten into an argument the evening of August 25th, which resulted in Soukup stabbing McConkey in the neck as she slept.
Soukup then called police and when they arrived, she told them “I stabbed her.”
An arraignment hearing is scheduled for December 7th.
