Hospitals remain taxed with COVID 19 patients in Northeastern Wisconsin according to Manitowoc County Emergency Services Director Travis Waack.
“We have 181 hospitalized,” Waack told SeehaferNEws.com. “45 of those are in the ICU, and we have 25 ICU beds available, meaning we are currently using about 82% of our hospital capacity here in Northeast Wisconsin.”
Waack also reiterated that those who test positive for COVID-19 are being asked to isolate at home for a minimum of 10 days after your first symptoms, or if you have no symptoms, after the date of your test.
Also, you need to make sure you are letting everyone that you have been in close contact with that you have tested positive. As a reminder, a close contact is defined as someone you were within six feet of for 15 minutes or more, or anyone you had physical contact with in any way.
