The Wisconsin Badgers football team began regular game week preparations Monday and they are scheduled to practice each day all week.
Program officials reported the list of active COVID-19 cases is down to five – two players and three staff members.
That means there’s a good chance the Badgers will make the trip to Ann Arbor this weekend to play against the Michigan Wolverines.
There have been only two positive test results over the last seven days, including one player.
Athletic Director Barry Alvarez says the school is confident it has a handle on the situation, but it will continue to monitor testing results.
