A public health alert has been issued for a food product sold a Kwik Trip stores throughout Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.
Reports indicate that the Take Home Meals Spaghetti and Meatballs in Marinara Sauce was recalled due to shards of metal being found in the meatballs.
The packaging dates on the affected products was October 17th through November 1st, with an expiration date between October 25th and November 9th.
A recall was not requested on the product because it is no longer believed to be available for consumers to purchase.
