The Manitowoc Area Visitor & Convention Bureau is joining forces, starting today, with the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s Big Bundle Up campaign.
Donating warm winter items is the perfect way to give to Wisconsin families in need as the holiday-giving season approaches.
Beginning today and lasting until January 5th a box is located at the MAVCB, located at 4221 Calumet Avenue, for donors to drop-off warm clothing items. They’re collecting coats, sweaters, hats, mittens and other warm clothing items to donate to local charities this winter season.
All items donated to the drop-off box at the Manitowoc Visitor and Convention Bureau will be given to the Hopeful Hearts Club.
This is the 10th year of the Big Bundle Up and, to date the Wisconsin Department of Tourism charity drive has collected over 185,000 warm winter items to help families in need.
