The City of Manitowoc has begun their leaf pick up for this fall.
Dan Koski, the Director of Public Infrastructure, said in a news release that there is now a parking ban between the hours of 6:00 and 3:00 PM on the day of your pickup, which coincides with the street sweeping schedule.
Because of weather and the volume of leaves, workers are not always able to complete each section each week. Koski asks that residents remain patients, and that sections that are missed will be taken care of the next week.
As a reminder, brush or garden waste will not be picked up. For streets with a parking lane, leaves should be raked into the parking lane the night before your pickup. Streets without a parking lane, leaves should be placed on the terrace.
