For many, Halloween is their favorite time of year, as they get to dress up, and enjoy the company of others.
This year was a little different, with COVID-19 limiting gatherings, and putting a stopper on trick-or-treating in many cities.
That was not the case in Manitowoc, as city officials allowed the tradition to continue, but asked that people only go out with people in their own household.
Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels told SeehaferNews.com that feels like most people followed those guidelines.
“Overall, I think it looked pretty good,” the Mayor said. “I drove around the city at that time and it looked ok.”
He did admit that some did not follow the guidelines but said “I guess we’re not going to throw a five-year-old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle in jail for not wearing their mask.”
