The Green Bay Police Department has released more information regarding the stabbing incident over the weekend.
49-year-old Christopher Lahey has been charged with 1st Degree Reckless Injury, and Prostitution.
The criminal complaint states that officers were sent to the Bay Motel on Southern Military Avenue just after 1:30 AM on Sunday on a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, the officers found the victim, identified as Connan Johnson, in a van, screaming in pain with blood on his shirt.
Johnson suffered two stab wounds to the stomach and possibly one on his leg, and was taken to a local hospital.
A woman exited the motel as officers were dealing with Johnson, and she said a “fatter white man” was responsible.
At the same time, different officers were dealing with a weapons complaint on Northern Avenue.
The man involved was Lahey and he was found to be responsible for the stabbing and was found to be living with a prostitute.
