The chief of staff for the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission blames what she calls the “current climate at City Hall” for her decision to resign.
Tammy Majewski is the third member of the commission to quit last week.
Her move comes after the resignations of executive director Griselda Aldrete and commissioner Raymond Robakowski.
In her resignation letter, Majewski said she has been the victim of bullying and racism.
She says he filed a complaint in July.
The resignations of three commission members come while it is in the middle of the process of choosing a new Milwaukee police chief.
Majewski’s last day on the job will be Tuesday, November 10th.
