A Manitowoc man is facing a litany of charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a child and sent her photos of his genitals.
Officials were first told of the misconduct on October 19th and began their investigation. The police report states that the abuse began in September and occurred several times throughout October.
The age of the victim was not released, but it was stated that on one occasion the 21-year-old man had inappropriately touched the child and rubbed his genitals against her. He also added her on a social media platform and sent pictures of his privates to the girl.
On another occasion, the man reportedly choked the girl, and in another, the girl had to kick him in the groin to get him to stop assaulting her.
An unnamed individual told police that the suspect mentioned feeling sexually attracted to children, and that they had seen the suspect look at children “like one might look at a woman.”
The suspect is facing 2 counts each of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Strangulation or Suffocation, and Physical Abuse of a Child, one count each of Exposing a Child to Harmful Material, Possession of Fentanyl, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and four Counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
