Bail is set at $1000 cash for a 21-year-old Manitowoc man facing multiple charges after allegedly sexually assaulting a child.
Cameron Loze is charged with two counts each of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Strangulation or Suffocation of a Child, Two Counts of Physical Abuse of a Child, One Count of Exposing a Child to Harmful Material, Possession of Fentanyl, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping and four counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
Police say that the abuse began in September and occurred multiple times in October. Officers learned that on one occasion Loze had inappropriately touched the child and had added her on a social media platform sending her pictures of himself.
In two other separate occasions Loze also allegedly choked her and had to “kick him” to get him to stop assaulting her.
Conditions of bail are that Loze have “no contact” with anyone under the age of 18-have no access to social media and maintain “absolute sobriety.” He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for next Monday at 1:30 PM.
