Several varieties of summer sausage from a Wisconsin based sausage maker have been recalled.
The products from Rackow Family Sausage out of Juda, WI, in Southern Wisconsin include their pepper cheese summer sausages with garlic and jalapenos, garlic green olives and jalapenos, and just garlic, as well as the cheddar summer sausage with garlic.
This is a Class I recall, initiated based on evidence collected during a routine inspection by state inspectors. Evidence shows that the products were produced without the benefit of inspection by state officials as required by law for meat products.
