The Roncalli and Oostburg boys soccer teams are each one step closer to a state championship.
Roncalli had the offense working yesterday afternoon, as they defeated #3 Plymouth 4-2 at Rubick Field to advance to the 3rd Sectional Finals. They will be taking on the #1 seed from the bottom half of the bracket, Seymour on the road at 1:00 Saturday afternoon.
In Division 3, Oostburg also advanced with a 2 goal win over Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian. The final in Oostburg was 3-1, as the Flying Dutchmen advance to the 3rd Sectional finals against the University School of Milwaukee.
The same can not be said for Kiel, who fell in their 2nd Sectional matchup against St. Lawrence Seminary. This was not a high scoring affair, as the Raiders lost in heartbreaking fashion, 1-0.
