Everyone accepts that emotions could be running high on Election Day, but Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas is warning people that acting out could get them arrested.
Lucas says his department is ready for a stressful day next Tuesday. He said the department is working with state and federal officials to monitor potential problems.
Wisconsin has been listed as one of the top five states which could face issues with militia members showing up at polling site.
Lucas says he’s worried about aggressive behavior. If it goes too far, that’s voter intimidation – and that could mean felony charges.
