A 33-year-old Manitowoc man, who is accused of making threats against his former employer has been deemed not competent enough to stand trial.
Nathaniel Smith allegedly made multiple videos and social media posts threatening the staff at Manitowoc Grey Iron Foundry. Police reports indicate that he said things like “No one will survive”, and “This time, you pay with your lives”.
When he was arrested, he claimed to just be venting frustrations, and was not legitimately planning on going through with the threats.
Smith’s status will be reviewed in January as he faces a charge of Making Terrorist Threats.
