The annual WIAA Boys and Girls Cross Country Championships will occur tomorrow, but as opposed to past years, the entire State Meet won’t be held at the Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
The large school race has been shifted to Hartland Arrowhead, the Division-2 meets take place at Colby and the Division-3 races are set Maple Grove in West Salem, Wisconsin.
Locally, the Valders boys are returning to state for the 5th consecutive year and are seeking a 4th straight Gold trophy. Joining the Valders boys tomorrow in the Division-2 field at Colby are the Girls team from Two Rivers, Kiel Boys & 3 individual girl runners for the Kiel Raiders along with Brillion’s Hunter Krepline.
Manitowoc Lutheran is sending its’ complete Boys squad and individual Brooklyn Luebke to West Salem, as well as Brayden Yanda from Roncalli and Reedsville’s Owen Behnke for the ‘D-3 state runners
