Due to the continued impact of COVID-19, the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health has issued a Public Health Emergency, and are changing the way they do contact tracing.
The Health Officials have reported seeing at least 100 new cases of the virus per day, which has caused their ability to properly perform contact tracing to diminish.
So, effective immediately, they will be prioritizing contacting positive cases who are 18 years old and younger first, and then individuals working in high risk settings. Following those will be all other individuals as capacity allows.
Those who have been tested but not receiving results are being advised to contact the facility that conducted testing. If this was the National Guard, and 5 days have passed without result notification, then call 1-866-419-6988.
