Additional charges have been filed against the 28-year-old man who reportedly stabbed a police officer in late September.
Oscar Lemus-Franco was already facing five charges including First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Battery to a Law Enforcement Officer, both with Use of a Dangerous Weapon among others. Now he also has been charged with two counts of First Degree Intentional Homicide, and one count of Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide, all with the Use of a Dangerous Weapon.
Lemus-Franco allegedly shot and killed two people the night of September 28th in a home on Clement Street and when officers attempted to take him into custody, he fled in a vehicle. He was eventually caught, but not before crashing in the median at the intersection of North Broadway and Dousman Street.
Lemus-Franco’s sister told authorities that he claims God speaks to him, telling him to kill people and that he won’t get in trouble for it.
He is being held in the Brown County Jail on a $1 million cash bond.
