High school sophomore basketball player Janae Kent is just that good.
Even though she has most of her high school career remaining, Marquette women’s basketball coach Megan Duffy has extended a scholarship offer to the Class of 2023 athlete.
Kent stands six-foot-one and averaged 15 points-a-game as a freshman.
Getting ready for the high school season, she is currently playing in a boys league in an effort to find stronger opposition.
As a 14-year-old freshman, in her first varsity game last year, Kent scored 30 points and took down 10 rebounds.
With six players graduating in a couple of years, that Class of 2023 will be critical for the Golden Eagles program.
