Manitowoc Police arrested a man last night after an argument between a husband and wife turned physical.
Officers were dispatched to a home in the 1100 block of South 20th Street just before 10:00 PM on a report of family trouble.
When they arrived, they spoke with the victim, who explained that her husband of 20 years had slapped her over an argument the two were having.
The 45-year-old man admitted to hitting his wife, and cooperated with police.
He is now facing charges of Battery and Disorderly Conduct, both with Domestic Violence Orders, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
