Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland is hosting their annual Manufacturing Rocks event today from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Those in attendance can learn more about the 18 programs the college offers which can lead to careers in manufacturing, both on the shop floor and in the office.
Also, LTC will be holding their annual Sparks Welding Competition, with several $1,500 scholarships up for grabs.
Those in attendance must wear long pants and closed toed shoes, and those under 18-years of age will be required to sign a release, as will their parent or guardian.
Admission advisors will be available to answer questions about paying for college, on- and off-campus learning options, placement rates, the application process, and dual credit and youth apprenticeship opportunities.
