Officers were called to a home in the 1200 block of South 10th Street just before 11:30 AM Sunday on a report of a domestic incident. When they arrived, they found that the 19-year-old male suspect had blocked the doorway with a couch, and refused to move it. He finally did after being threatened with a taser.
Officers were forced to place him in handcuffs as he continued to be belligerent and refused to follow orders. The female who lives at the residence told police that she had broken up with the suspect earlier in the day, and that he refused to leave.
The man continued to be uncooperative, and was told he was being arrested for disorderly conduct. The officers then drug him out to the squad car, but he resisted being put in. Officers eventually threatened to utilize pepper spray to get him into the squad car.
The man is now facing charges of Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Violence Order, Resisting an Officer, and six counts of Bail Jumping, 5 Misdemeanor and one Felony.
