After an impressive start to his college career, Wisconsin quarterback Graham Mertz may have to miss three games.
He and the Badgers are awaiting the results from a second test after receiving a positive test result over the weekend.
If the second test comes back positive, Mertz would be forced to miss three games against Nebraska, Purdue, and Michigan.
In his first college start Saturday the redshirt freshman completed 20-of-21 passes for five touchdowns. The win over Illinois vaulted Wisconsin into 11th place in the latest Coaches Poll.
