A state appeals court has interrupted the emergency order issued by Governor Tony Evers to restrict indoor public gatherings.
The Third District Court of Appeals made its ruling Friday.
The Democratic governor issued the order limiting those indoor gatherings to 25% of a building’s capacity – or 10 people in locations that don’t have a capacity limit.
For now, the effort to control the spread of the coronavirus is on hold.
A Barron County judge had upheld the order on October 19th.
