A 15-year-old stabbing suspect has been arrested in Madison after a weekend incident.
Police were called to a home at about 11:00 PM Saturday. Shortly after their arrival, a hospital reported a man with multiple stab wounds had shown up seeking treatment.
Investigators were told there was an argument between adults when the teenager picked up a knife and stabbed the victim in the back three times.
Family members helped officers de-escalate the situation with the young suspect.
He did try to run away but was quickly taken into custody.
He’s being held at the Juvenile Reception Center.
