With Sunday’s game at Houston fast approaching, the Green Bay Packers are considering their options for the all-important left tackle position.
All-Pro David Bakhtiari missed both practices this week with a chest injury suffered in the loss at Tampa Bay.
Rick Wagner took Bakhtiari’s place in that game and struggled, giving up a sack and a tackle-for-loss.
The Packers might be tempted to put second-year lineman Elgton Jenkins in the position. He’s been a breakout star on the offensive line.
The most likely option will be to move starting right tackle, Billy Turner, to the left tackle spot. Wagner would take over at right tackle.
Of course, Bakhtiari hasn’t been officially ruled out for the Texans game yet.
