A Milwaukee man who was found guilty of providing prostitution services has been sentenced in Outagamie County to six years in prison.
36-year-old Theodore Givings was arrested back in January after he attempted to lure a minor into prostitution, and was convicted of human trafficking.
Givings told the court that he blames his actions on his drug and alcohol consumption, and pledged to stay sober.
Judge Mark McGinnis decided to split the difference between what the prosecution and what the defense thought was a proper sentence, as the prosecution was aiming for 10 to 12 years, and the defense was asking for 3 years.
